What does C&A paint?
Inside, walls, ceilings, trim, doors and built-ins. Outside, siding, trim and porches, plus pressure washing and touch-ups. In the company’s own description, whether the job is interior or exterior painting, pressure washing or touch-ups, the crew goes above and beyond to meet what each client wants.
It’s also the work customers talk about most. Google sorts the company’s 35 reviews by topic, and painting comes up in seven of them, more than any other trade.

Exterior painting and porches
Exterior work includes the second-story trim most homeowners can’t reach safely, painted from the ladder, and covered porches like the one below. Pressure washing is on C&A’s list too, so dirt and mildew can come off before new paint goes on. The painting crew works anywhere in the service area, from Bellevue and Belle Meade to Brentwood and Smyrna.

Deck staining and sealing
A stain or sealer keeps a wood deck from graying and checking in the sun. C&A’s reviewers have had both done, and because the company’s framers build decks, loose or rotten boards can be replaced before the finish goes on.
What moves the price of a paint job?
Square footage is only the start. Ceilings and trim add time, walls with nail pops or cracks need patching first, and a big color change, dark to light especially, often means another coat. New drywall needs a primer coat before any color. C&A also hangs and finishes drywall, so a wall that needs repair and paint is one job.
Small painting jobs
A single room, a scuffed hallway or a front door is a reasonable call. Madison W., who came to C&A on an interior designer’s recommendation, has had painting done along with a ceiling fan and deck sealing.
